The concept is pretty cool but it could've been better executed.
The album revolves around the story of a man captured by a apache tribe and how he journeys throughout the american landscape as he tries to survive. The story is intresting and intriguing and I really enjoy it. However, it's pretty lackluster, doesn’t have that much depth and because of the pretty bad quality of the spokenword often industinguishable since the instrumentals is a little too loud. That being said, the ... read more
This is vastly different from anything King Gizzard and the Lizard Wizard has put out to date. There is a complete absent of any of their normal instruments and equipment, it's all been traded for synths all the way through. I have yet to listen to the extended edition and I doubt I'll post anything about it on here.
I think this is a beautifully constructed and structured album and an inpressive feat going from PetroDragonic Apocalyspe; or Dawn of Eternal Night; an Annihilation of Planet Earth ... read more
It was a good album. I felt it had a clear and good sound and managed to experiment with it and toss it around for a solid 20-30 minutes but it's clear that one side of the album is better than the other.

But nope, it stops, starts speeding up by like 100x and then ... read more
Early Death Metal lyrics will never not be funny to me. Like they'll sing about satan, gore and other gruesome shit, guitars schreeching in background almost drowning out the vocals and the already loud drums. Then it'll just be the sickest guitar solo you've ever heard. It's fucking hilarious.
Deicide's debut is not different from this description. It's a pretty hard album in contrast to other Death Metal albums of it's time and takes on somewhat darker and edgier lyrical themes which is ... read more
