a step up from his first tape, lots of my favorite cole verses on this tape, good mix of old and new beats
a few highlights, shows alot of the potential a young cole would have
the closest thing to a modern frank ocean, almost manufactured, however despite that khamari offers something of value here.
i get he's trying to have fun but idk , doesn't hit the mark for me personally
a passionate record, despite its roughness around the edges it still finds itself instilling a great sense of emotion and self-reflection even if it can come off as childish at times.
"big & strong" "alphabet soup" "Dark and Empty House" are standouts
looking forward to what he does next

i enjoy this new wave of emo/midwest rock sound and i think bunii has a great voice but for every 2 songs that stick out there are like 15 that are just "there". i think its a mix of the structures and the short runtime bunii will put these songs through and just doesn't give enough time for them to sit and standout. but again they aren't terrible, it just doesn't stick out to me artistically in the midst of so many artists doing this sound in a very similar fashion. ... read more
theres suprisingly enough polish but not enough interesting ideas at play, really like "ME VOY" though
its throwaways for a reason, there are a few gems here though
wabo's first rap focused project in awhile, its solid for the most part but doesnt really do too much to hold me over, metro station is a super strong highlight here though
