what a beautiful beautiful record. for such a legend she is so slept on. i hope she releases more solo music soon.
earls strongest record since SRS , the adolescent of parenthood truly puts a smile on your face when hearing it
i was never really big on jvb if im completely honest, really felt like a big gimmick duo at first and esp after their last record "No Hands" there really wasn't much appeal to me but i have to say that this record did click for me. i think one of the central topics being the struggle of not wanting grow up adds so much context to the fun and very goofy lines that jvb has become known for. also just hands down this is joey's best production, this shit is miles more ... read more
brocko with a strong record out of nowhere! brocko boils down his confidence, his skills and his want to settle down into this colorful record! he has a great ear for beats that keep you engaged and the energy pretty consistent, i really appreciate the length of it, he gets straight to the point with these songs and it really allows for them to not drag, adds a good amt of replayabilty to it. i think this is a great stepup from the solid record last year's bayless

solid EP from lyricist eli g, he's always had such a way of articulating his feelings in way that instantly connect , just feel that this EP isn't consistently his strongest, sweat lobbies is a huge highlight here though
i made this song
the singing vocally can be better, but i do feel the instrumentation really supports and even kinda masks the imperfections in it and gel together in a way that works really well here. the verse is really strong and doesn't overstay its welcome, the song structure evolves and really feels like a journey by the time you finish it, his strongest song out rn without a doubt
yeah im going to genuinely try to be unbiased but I did make this song
i feel its extremely unique, its only shortcoming is that it is hard to hear what im saying at points, it adds to it but i also understand it being the reason it makes someone not like it.
an afro-beat song is pretty left-field for both imaad and shantel but it works really well! imaad's hook is super strong and the verse compliments it perfectly. shantel's verse flows perfectly on this track. i think its the best track the group has out !
another pop party song from these guys, i find it overall a more polished version of what "sumbody" was doing, and it works for the most part here
its a vibe, every bar is fun, its not too serious, theres a solid hook, beat is groovy, not much to complain about here
a more pop directed song and it works pretty decently, it doesn't blow me away but it works pretty well. maybe the hook could be stronger but i find the whole song pretty servicable
my personal favorite, hook is strong but not doing too much, verses are strong and focused and not too straightforward that its boring. great showing from imaad here
his biggest song to date, and for good reason, really emphasizes the feeling, feels calm and soothing while still being present and thoughtful thru his writing. i enjoy the very lowkey, diy vibe of it, adds to the heart of the song
