I’m not the biggest fan of this album, even though I appreciate the attempt to reinvent their sound compared to the previous records.
I thought Daft Punk were incapable of making a bad album, but apparently I was wrong. Human After All feels like a huge recycling of the sounds from their two previous albums.
It would probably be hypocritical of me to criticize the lack of risk-taking, since I often enjoy straightforward or formulaic albums, but this one just isn’t that great as a full project. I got pretty bored listening to it, despite a few bangers here and there.

This album contains some masterpieces — tracks that are genuinely among the best songs of Travis Scott’s career — but also longer, less interesting songs that feel like they were included mainly to stretch the runtime.
I love the atmosphere of the project. It’s incredibly well produced, even if, once again, some tracks feel a bit too basic for Travis Scott standards. Overall, the album had the potential to become a rap classic and the best album of 2016, but Travis ... read more
The project sounds good overall — there are some strong productions with rock influences that work really well, and it’s short enough that it never becomes boring.
The main problem with this album is Lil Tracy himself. What I was afraid of while following his career ended up happening: he became almost like a parody of Lil Peep. He tries to sing like him, recreate his aesthetic through the lyrics, and even uses similar flows and vocal placements on certain tracks.
When he did that ... read more
It’s honestly really disappointing coming from Offset to show such an obvious lack of creativity, especially considering he helped revolutionize trap music with the Migos just a few years earlier. How do you go from Culture I and II, or even Kiari that same year, to a project this lifeless — filled with recycled production and flows we’ve already heard hundreds of times before?
Yeah, I gave it a 50 because it’s not unlistenable, but projects like this just make you ... read more
The only real issue I had with this project was the structure. But then I realized it was a mixtape, and honestly, PinkPantheress understood the format perfectly. She delivers a fun project that never overstays its welcome — if anything, I wish there were even more tracks.
It’s basically just a nonstop run of bangers. The sound is varied, consistently enjoyable, and I really don’t have much to criticize.
Fav tracks: Girl Like Me, Nice to Know You
The album starts off really strong, delivering tracks that are better produced, more interesting, and far less boring than his previous album. Prison seems to have helped Gunna — mentally, physically, and musically.
Unfortunately, the “too long and repetitive” syndrome eventually takes over. The project really had potential; it just needed a bit more work on the structure and more variety in the sounds. But in terms of overall sound quality, it’s definitely there.

This is not bad, this is just not for me, I really don't like their music. Maybe if i listen to it more times...
That's the most hip-hop album i've ever heard, what a nice piece of art !
Tracy the prince...
Solid mixtape, Tracy is a really underrated rapper, and i think he didn’t deserve to be overshadowed by Lil Peep that much. He could release some great projects by himself
Fav Tracks : Life of a Popstar, Prom Queen
Classic. This album is an absolute landmark in music as a whole, and it creates a really special feeling while listening to it, even if I personally find it a bit too long. I would’ve preferred the Shine On You Crazy Diamond tracks to be shorter, with a few other songs added in their place.
Fav tracks: Have a Cigar, Wish You Were Here
Least fav: Welcome to the Machine
Solid album — well rapped, and the melodies work really well. But it gets too repetitive, especially in the flows and the production (a problem that only gets worse on his next project, The GOAT).
Alright, I’m starting to understand why people hype up Earl so much — I’m beginning to see the vision. Some Rap Songs, as the title suggests, feels like a small collection of what Earl does best, almost like something he put together for his fans, and I have to say, it works really well.
Between the hazy, off-kilter production that builds a very distinct atmosphere throughout the project (unlike the dull, almost unlistenable beats on his more recent, sleep-inducing album), and ... read more
This project is definitely overrated, but it’s still really good. The main highlight is Kanye’s production — he absolutely went off here. The sample choices are incredible, and there’s a real variety in the drum patterns that keeps the album dynamic and engaging from start to finish.
A rapper who can really rap over great production while constantly trying out new flows and hooks to keep his songs fresh and engaging — what more could you ask for?
Shoutout to Schoolboy Q for this gem.
It’s not bad, but it’s not really good either. It’s far from original, but it’s listenable.
