For as many great songs there are, there are as many terrible ones. The rest of the album is just boring and unmemorable.
I'm sorry, but I don't understand the appeal of soundtrack albums like this. Literally all you're getting is a bunch of leftovers mixed with the corniest references to the film that they could possibly imagine. I really love this movie but I don't want to listen to an entire album about being Spiderman in my free time. That shit just isn't interesting. Every song feels so lyrically empty and the production isn't anything special. The worst part about it is that Metro Boomin literally released a ... read more
I'M GOING CRAZYYYYYYYYYYYYY LITTLE TINY HOLYWOOD BABYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY BRAND NEWWWWWWWWWWWWWW MERCEDEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEZ I AM AT THE CRIB GOING CRAZYYYYYYYYY
The first half of this album is so amazing but it falls off pretty hard after that.
This is perfectly fine, but like... why was this the single? This is kinda uninteresting, especially with how much this album is being hyped up as being so groundbreaking.
This is Joji’s worst album. After releasing Nectar, I think it was safe to say that Joji isn’t really an album artist, but this album outright confirms it. The lead single for this album, Glimpse of Us is an absolutely beautiful track. Stripped back, gorgeous vocals, and probably Joji’s strongest set of lyrics to date. This single was followed up by the song YUKON, which I wasn’t crazy about by any means, but the fact that it was labeled as an interlude gave me hope that ... read more
I feel bad for rating this so low, but it just doesn't work as a full project. Every song follows the exact same format and refuses to differ from it; to the point where it becomes incredibly tedious. Most of these songs work perfectly fine as stand-alones, but when put together like this, I can't imagine why anybody would willingly want to listen to it. Just stick to the albums. Even though they're pretty mixed, all things considered, you get a lot more variety, and each album has at least a ... read more
This song is perfectly fine, but it's not too interesting. He's so blatantly trying to repeat the success of Cold Heart that it's hard to take it seriously.
This sampling trend has gotten out of hand. They sampled one of the dumbest songs ever made and somehow managed to make it even dumber.
I cannot describe how much this song makes me want to throw my AirPods in a blender.
Remember when Post Malone made really unique and interesting music?
"I got you, moonlight, you're my starlight
I need you all night, come on, dance with me"
She went from shamelessly ripping off Billie Eilish to shamelessly ripping off Olivia Rodrigo, how groundbreaking.
Jesus Christ this is horrible. It sounds like he isn't trying, and not in a way that makes him sound cool or charismatic. I refuse to believe that someone actually wrote these lyrics down, recorded them, had other people listen to them, and actually released them. The chorus has a cute idea, but it feels like he gives up halfway through. No one would give two shits about this song if it weren't for the sample.
