I'm not really a big Springsteen fan, I enjoy some of his songs but I never find myself listening to whole albums of his, with the exception of this album. Nebraska strips back a lot of the music which leads to a very atmospheric sound, and a sound that ages with time a lot better than his other works. Each song captures its story well, but some feel underwhelming when compared to the rest of the album, especially Used Cars and Open All Night.
