Kinda strange album that's sandwiched in between their 2 best records
Kendrick has been having a crazy year and this album feels like a victory lap for him. While it is brief and not as introspective as his other albums, I don't see that as a bad thing at all. I love the slightly unhinged energy he brings here, you can tell he had a lot of fun making this. Love the beats too, they hit hard while being relatively minimal in their presentation but it works for the vibe Kendrick is going for here. Amazing record!

Phil's most sprawling work yet, like branches of a tree reaching into the night.
Brat but it's not as good as Brat but also still Brat.
Yeah idk as someone who thinks Brat is AOTY, I'm not really feeling some of these remixes. Club classics, I might say something stupid, Rewind, and mean girls are among the worst of the bunch. However I did enjoy some of these like everything is romantic, sympathy is a knife, girl so confusing, b2b, and 365. I'll say this was a cool way to revisit Brat after nearly burning myself out on that album lol
Geordie delivers one of the most eccentric albums of the year! While I much prefer his work with Black Midi over this, I think this is a great starting point for his solo career. Greep on
My first GYBE album and wow, really crushing and beautiful stuff here. That combined with the messaging makes this a really powerful listen.
Free Palestine.
This album is like an audial kaleidoscope. Magdalena Bay comes in with the most surreal and detailed production of this year with great songwriting and beautiful vocals to top it all off. Pure pop perfection!
Nice bedroom pop sound here but the screamo elements dont mesh well for me
