I despise Kanye Omari West for making one of the greatest albums ever made
Fun album with some really good songs and consistent quality. Wasn't expecting to care for this at all but I was wrong. Don't know why I skipped over this when I mass listened to 2025 albums in December. Don't have much else to say honestly.
Holy shit. Could leave it at that but this deserves a review. The instrumentation on this album is genuinely mind-blowing and just like Ride The Lightning, it makes the instrumental filled sections very interesting. Those guitar solos are just insane. Battery and Damage Inc are so fucking explosive and I love them. Every track besides The Thing That Should Not Be and Leper Messiah are really good and I like that James sings more on this. I was very curious to see what I'd think of this considering I thought the album Ritchie and Parker dropped this year was pretty good. Yeah this was not it. I don't care for this sound at all, it's so messy often times and it kinda annoys me. This is also very inconsistent and it feels like a giant mess instead of a cohesive album. That run from Ground Zero to Wild Wild West is pretty damn mediocre, I did not enjoy Top Picks for You at all and I honestly think that's a bad ... read more
This was really similar to Alfredo 2 except with a slightly worse rapper (I just like Freddie more). The Alchemist is a very over hyped producer, from the two albums I've heard that were produced by him, I got bored of his one dimensional beats. As for Gunn, I liked his performances ... read more
This could be a bit higher in the score but this album kinda dragged. The ending four and portions of the begining really aren't anything special. There's some bangers here, not as strong as the ones off life after death, but they're still great. Those songs are Juicy, Gimme The Loot, Everyday Struggle and Big Poppa. This also just has the 90s rap thing of having very repetitive subject matters on songs, it's definitely stopped bothering me as much but it's still ... read more
