Listening just seems to make this album go by so fast. I mean this in a good way since every song seems to have its own novelty and it makes you want to come back.
I trust that Doechii will find some way to top this. She is riding high since the Grammy win and I really hope that she takes her time to create some real art. Until then, this is still a great mixtape with tons of character.
The way that Freddie slides across every beat and the way that every beat is so smooth and flows so well is insane. Such wonderful chemistry captured in a short tracklist that always feels like a refreshing summer day no matter how many times I come back.
One of the best pop albums of the 21st Century since the genre has been oversaturated with so much awful samey dogshit, it's refreshing to hear something that's not just full of interesting and vibey songs but also conceptual.
Kendrick Lamar's effects on the automobile market shall be studied in future economics classes.
One of the two albums (as of writing this) that has made me cry. If TPAB wasn't TPAB this would be #1
Throwaways that are better than a lot of other artists' discographies.
There's nothing I can say about this album that hasn't been said before. Anyone who hasn't listened to this should do so right now.
I feel like it's only correct to rate this an 8/10. It has plenty of great songs, a handful of amazing songs, and a only a few stinky ones. It's about Kendrick telling a collection of stories from his hometown and serves as a precursor to GKMC.
idk why but my first listen left a weird taste since the last three tracks didnt really click with me. it took a while but eventually they did and now i love it front to back. this band definitely has a long and bright future ahead of them.
i absolutely love isaac’s unhinged delivery on the first half’s breakdown and the second half. masterclass in building insanity with only sound.
bald head girl and black body are the best parts
i have a freckle at the base of my right middle finger. that has nothing to do with this amazing mixtape. just thought it was worth a mention
