This was another pretty bad album, but maybe it’s just because I really hate trap with most of my heart. I will say though I went into this album with an open mind, and I attempted to appreciate it. The lyrical content was just one of the most horrible things I’ve ever seen. The rhymes are absolute brain dead, and they’re not even close to rhyming. On the song, pour one, he rhymed, brother, and brother. That’s not even half of how bad it is, all the rhymes are even worse ... read more
This was a really enjoyable album, and it offered lots of things. At the same time though there were a few categories it actually lacked in. The lyrical content from both wiki and Mike are great. They both have amazing rhymes, although on some songs they rhyme schemes are a little more simplistic, but they also have really good flow. I will say though the one thing that wiki did better than Mike on here was with execution. He put much more heart into what he was saying and doing. The production ... read more
This is a really great and enjoyable album, and in my opinion it’s probably the supremes best. It offers lots of different emotions and takes you on a journey. The lyrical content for the most part is really enjoyable and engaging. The rhymes are obviously buns, but that’s to be expected because they were not prioritized. The vocals were really good and they had lots of emotion put into the vocals and delivery. The choruses were for the most part memorable and just Beatifial. The ... read more
This was just a spectacular album. It has this more epic and finale type vibe to it, and it’s really enjoyable. The lyrical content is amazing and just interesting. It has interesting and engaging messages, that really make you question some things or open up your eyes to other things. The rhymes were really good too, and each bar has a complex lyric scheme. He also flowed quite well overall as well. The choruses on this as well were perfect, and they were so enjoyable and memorable. The ... read more
I loved this album, and it’s another undisputedly great Japanese city pop album. Now as per usual, I still don’t speak Japanese, so I can’t base most of the lyrical content. But I will say that his delivery is phenomenal, and he puts so much heart and emotion into it. Also his voice is really calm and soothing, and it always matches the vibes of the instrumentals. Now the production is just spectacular as well, and it’s so enjoyable. It has elements of some more jazzy ... read more
This is a pretty good album, but there are much better jay-z project out there. The lyrical content was decent overall. The rhymes were either mid or good, but his flow on the other hand was just bad. It felt like he was forcing the lyrics upon the beat, and it just wasn’t very good. The story telling lacked in lots of categories, and that’s the same with the delivery. This project just felt like he was drained when he made it. His production was pretty great, but there were some ... read more
This was a truly spectacular album, and it was just really beautiful. Obviously, there was no lyrical content, but it felt like the instruments were speaking for themselves. Whether it be the flutes, the drums, or more, they’re constantly changing and they have their own personalities. I really enjoyed the production on this, and like I mentioned before they felt like they all had their own unique personality. Also the instruments were always changing and it always kept you engaged at all ... read more
Honestly I’m really surprised this is not on streaming, because it sure does have quite a few good songs and good moments. It may or may not have borrowed some beats from the special herbs library, but that’s the whole point of the special herbs library. The lyrical content is actually pretty peak, and especially for a 14 year old this is really phenomenal. The rhyme schemes are more complex and have lots of intricate rhymes, but there is some stuff that was an attempt at a rhyme ... read more
This is undoubtedly just a phenomenal album, and it really does just hit hard. I think the reason I enjoy it so much is because of the nostalgia, but even putting that factor aside this still is just amazing. When I first heard this it just reminded me of all my childhood, and I seriously felt just joyed and delighted to experience such. The production on this album is phenomenal and just so enjoyable. It has cool instrumentals that aren’t seen so often. It’s very uncomplicated but ... read more
Is this a great album? Deifntley. Is this over glazed? Deifntley. The thing with this album is that it was really infesting and a great listen, but it is just extremely over glazed. The vocals were just phenomenal and he hit all these great notes with ease. The choruses also not to mention were just perfect, and they’re not really all memorable but they’re still really great. The rest of the lyrical content was alright I guess, but these two things are the main parts of this ... read more
This was a pretty cool and deifntley unexpected album, and it was really engaging. It combined elements of hip hop and electro pop, and it generated this sort of club banger type vibe. Now I won’t say that every song offers something absolutely different, because it doesn’t, but most of the time you are able to tell what’s new and what’s going on. The lyrical content is either really bad, or really good. Like it’ll either be boring and buns, like stuff on, Nina, or ... read more
This was another just phenomenal album by the method man, and it hits every desired spot. The lyrical content is amazing, and everything about it is amazing. I mean the rhymes and bars all work so well together, and it’s a very complex rhyme scheme. The references are all really good and they work very well, and some of them are a little more sly. He also flows so well off the beats and it’s really elegant. The production on this album is amazing as well, and it really keeps you ... read more
If im being brutally honest I expected much more out of Taylor swift. And that’s absurd to say because I hate Taylor swift, so the fact that I expected more is just extremely disappointing. This is just a bad album, and there’s quite a few places it lacks in. I mean the lyrical content is just horrible, the rhymes are just plain and boring, the references are npc and so basic, and her vocals are good but there is no variety with them. I’m so sick of her and her trying to be ... read more
This would’ve been a better album if not for a variety of reasons. One of those being reasons are just the lyrical content, because half of it is good but the other half is horrible. The rhymes and bars are really great and quite enjoyable, they all worked well together. The reflexes Warner great but they’re pretty good, but they’re nothing out of this world. Now the problem is the story telling and the lies he tells. He always talks about his harder dangerous upcoming in his ... read more
I still don’t really like this project, but i think this might be easing me into this type of hip hop. I still highly dislike the lyrical content, for it’s to elective and lacks effort and care in the bars and story telling. I will say though that the production on this album was actually really good. It was so basic, but for some reason it was still pretty enjoyable. It had nice bass, and nice drums. Honestly the album would be much better if lil Uzi vert just lowkey shut up and ... read more
This is a great album, and it’s so interacting and cool. This album takes a deeper dive into the darker side and more serious side of doom, and he displays such elegantly. He takes a deeper dive into the more serious and dark sides of New York, and what crimes come with it as well. The lyrical content as per usual was just absolutey phenomenal. Down to the bars, the story telling, the flow, the references, they’re all just absolutely perfect. The production also displays that more ... read more
This album is truly great, and was quite creative. In this album it contains, beautiful poetry by not only doom, but the features as well. Obviously ignoring the skits almost every song off of here is an absolute banger and something you can’t go wrong with in the slightest. The production had a large selection of vibes, but regardless of whatever the feel of the song was, the lyrics and beat went hand and hand and suited each other very well. On songs like, fazers, doom flowed off the ... read more
Dangerdoom was an awesome collaboration between two genius of their own professions. It is pretty well fulfilling, and it has a more light hearted upbeat feel to the track. Almost every song off of this has a great combination of lyrical art and spectacular production. Even the skits on this are relatively funny. Overall this is such an underrated album and deserves much more attention. In my opinion the top three off of this album would probably be old school rules, Benzi box, and sofa king. ... read more
This is an astounding album, and a great kickstart to a great career. After being dropped from the record label and then becoming homeless, mf doom dropped this great album with no label to help him do such. He came back in such a villainous way, ready for vengeance against the world itself. All of these songs are either absoloute 10/10s or a really good song. Even though he did come back with vengeance, he was so chill when he did such and the overall vibe of the album and this chill comeback ... read more
When I say this I mean it, fuck this album with all my heart. The things I want to say about OsamaSon might lowkey get my prison time, so I’m goign to hold back. But regardless fuck this guy and fuck the woman that gave birth to him. I actually wish the absolute worst upon this man with all of my life. The lyrical content on this album might be the worst ive seen yet. Could we stop with the overuse of autotune, because it’s completely destroying everything. I mean the rhymes ... read more
