When that little instrument from lying from you kicks in (I really can't decipher what it is) the song shifts gears into a whole nother level.

Extremely fun and every song is enjoyable. The disparity in tone between the instrumental and Mike's verse on Izzo/In the End is comical and ridiculous but I love it.

This mixtape differs from most in that instead of Jay rapping new stuff on already existing beats, he just puts audio from his raps on already existing songs onto completely new instrumentals. I'm really shocked I didn't like this considering the reputation this song has. I usually love rap on electric guitar, but wow this did not do it for me.
Starts off so strong, again such a shame it turns into absolute trash toward the end. Just Blaze and Kanye do most of the heavy lifting when it comes to the highs on the album. Good thing Jay Z didn't end up retiring on such a mid note. Hopefully he improves from here.

Has no right being over an hour long. It's a shame this starts off so weak because it gets a lot better at the end. The whole thing is very reminiscent of those early kendrick mixtapes that are also pretty bad. Something charming about it.
