LUCKI - Dr*gs R Bad

Though it isn't luckis best, he definitely has some hits on this album and that's all I was looking for. I'll admit the beginning is a little weak but it gets better the deeper you go through the album. LIL BABY ALSO DIDN'T SELL and made one of the best songs on this album.

Chris Travis - WATERSZN

Hear me out, beginning of the album is REALLY good and then it just gets worse.

DJ Khaled - One of Them

Lil Baby sucks, but this beat is genuinely terrible.

Freddie Gibbs & The Alchemist - Alfredo
90

I've always appreciated Freddie Gibbs discography and craft, his rapping and his voice just perfectly work together to bring us some great projects like Alfredo, Pinata and even Bandana. This project especially is incredible, it consistently showcases Freddie's above average rapping. The features on top of that are all great, though I'm not necessarily a big fan of Tyler, The Creator's voice nor rapping unfortunately. In my opinion Alfredo II is a little better but that will ... read more

This shouldn't hit this hard.

GZA - Liquid Swords

Recently I've been diving into more Wu-Tang and decided to finally do a review on one of GZA's solo album. In my opinion, GZA is the best in the group and this album proves it. Now I can understand why people may think Ghostface Killah is better, but I feel like GZA is just better lyrically with his aggressive flow. This album is very consistent and doesn't fail to entertain me throughout the whole project. Even Killah Priest's solo song was probably the best song on the ... read more

Eric B. & Rakim - Paid In Full
77

To think at how revolutionary this must have been in 1987, it's a really solid album. Though, I don't like how randomly they'll put in mediocre beats and put them as a song. Now I understand production isn't the same back then as it is now, which it is actually not that bad. Of course, Rakim is great on almost every song on this album, he deserves heavy credit for revolutionizing rap and honestly making it what it is today.

This has a very crazy story for an album, while also being a very beautiful album. I'm pretty sure you can't find this album on any streaming service other then Youtube, which kind of makes the audio a little worse but that could just be me. Other then that, this album is a beautiful album that even relates to me, which built a deeper connection then many other albums. It felt like I was floating ... read more

This is a very easy to listen to project, from the beautiful jazzy melodies to the great performance by Mark Hollis (R.I.P.). I do recommend this album if your looking for a relaxing and beautiful album that is soft and easy to sit back and listen to. I can understand if people may find this boring, but if you just find a relaxing space and give it a chance, I'm sure you'd enjoy this project.

I am pleasantly surprised, this project is very good. Now if I'm being honest, I really am not a fan of Cameron's vocals or the way he sings. For some reason though, his vocals resonate with the instrumentals so well that it just works perfectly. Speaking of instrumentals, god they are so fun to listen to. I caught myself bopping my head to like 9 of these tracks, which typically I don't do unless I'm really getting into ... read more

I really enjoyed listening to this album. It's short but sweet, and I actually love Westside Gunn's rapping on this project. On top of that, he has great features like Freddie Gibbs and Tyler, The Creator who both performed greatly on their songs. Not to mention its a pretty consistent album with genuinely no misses. I'll admit though, that tap dancing was tough. Decent album.

I am shocked, this project should be getting WAY more recognition and popularity then it is. It disappoints me to see albums this incredible not be recognized enough. I honestly don't have words for how good this is, there is just so much emotion put into this project its almost overwhelming. Great job @criticallaway!
