i am very a much a fan of country taylor, and wish that she made more albums in that sound beyond the first part of her career. on this project, you can see her dipping her feet into the sounds and styles that will eventually contribute to her brilliant sophomore album "fearless", but it's definitely evident that she still has a ways to go before she gets to that level of quality.

this album and "habibti" are like a quarantine for all the bad songs that could've ended up on "iceman" but were instead sectioned off and put into their own containment facilities. both albums somehow manage to be an amalgamation of all of drake's worst musical traits put together.

this is an album whose rating has fluctuated a lot for me over the years, but is a project that I can’t deny has something special about it.
