Really solid first album. None of the songs aside from “Suburban Relapse" were skips for me. However, whilst all the songs are good, none really elevate the record. They all sound fairly similar, though the odd track like “Carcass,” “Overground,” and “Switch” are ones I could see myself coming back to often.
Ok yeah this ones my favourite. Gonna be glazing the shit outta this fucking album.
Not bad by any means, it's good, but in my opinion this is so far the weakest Deftones album I’ve heard. I even preferred Adrenaline to this one, and I usually like the darker and more depressing albums, but yeah I don’t know, most of the songs don’t really stand out or do anything that interesting for me. That said, I’ve got to appreciate the highlights on this album. “Hexagram” is this innovatie, angry and aggressive intro song, that really sets up the ... read more
Courtney babes. How the fuck did you not kill your throat screaming about milk all the time?
Is Gigantic about her boobies? I mean… they are pretty gigantic.
But yeah, it is a pretty messy album that somehow just works. Despite the chaos, there is so much energy and quirkiness throughout. Pixies really are in their own lane, and I respect them for being their own thing.
Welcome to earth King Geedorah. I am a homo. I like this album.
This record is fucking insane. One of the top releases of 2001, let alone one of the best and most iconic metal records ever made. There's so much fucking energy, clever punchy lyrics, and important political themes. It's a staple in the metal genre for a reason and is beloved by many. There's so much versatility on this record in terms of the instrumentals and vocals. One of my absolute favourite albums of all time.
This Stevie Nicks belongs in a band like Fleetwood Mac or something. She could make it big one day.
The snake symbolizes the fans who slithered away after hearing a great record. Goodbye fellas… I hope we can reunite again
It’s really good, but the tracks don’t differentiate from each other much. Don’t get me wrong, they’re all good songs, but together they kind of blur. I think they work much better as tracks to throw into a playlist than as a full project.
One of my favourite albums ever. Not one single skip. Gerard and the bois fucking cooked with this one lads. Phenomenal vocals, riffs and full on rage. Makes me wanna do knock knock ginger on all my neighbours doors and then go rob a bank.
Pink Maggit transcended me to another dimension. Knife Prty made me wanna do ket; along with Elite which was exactly as it was titled.
