I've listened to Blood Orange a little bit, mainly just his last 2 albums, but I don't know if I would have really considered myself a fan.
I'm a fan now. The production on here is outstanding, the vocal performances from Devonté are really fucking good, the features are never wasted, everyone is on here with a reason, it's just an overall really solid R&B album.

One of the weirdest roll-outs of all time, and this album earned that.
Honestly I kind of liked the idea of just dropping a bunch of singles on the same day and letting people piece the album together themselves, but I'll be honest, this tracklist order is pretty great, and I mean we got a new song, so you can't complain.

The downfall of Sabrina really is disappointing man. "emails i can't send" from 2022 was a pretty good alt-pop from her, and while it wasn't incredible, it definitely showcased potential for growth as an artist. "Short n' Sweet" was fine, and the deluxe was actually pretty good, but it didn't quite match up to eics in my opinion.
