So amazing that I almost want to watch this movie.
Charli xcx has been on a roll this past little while. I mean there was of course the absolute cultural moment that was Brat, and there was the amazing remix album with features from tons of artists, and the cherry on top of all of it, party 4 u being re-released as a single with an amazing music video. Since 2024, Charli has been going so strong that I barely even noticed that she didn't actually release an album last year, not that I was ... read more
An inconsistent masterpiece.
The Mollusk is one of my favourite albums of all time, and for a long time, what I would've called my favourite Ween album. I think that it's one of the most consistently great albums of all time, there isn't a single part of The Mollusk that I find boring or that I think the album would be better off with it cut. It is a 10/10 album through and through.
I would've never said the same thing about Quebec, at least not until recently. Quebec is a ... read more
It's good but it just really sounds like he's having less fun on here than Heaven or Hell and Hardstone Psycho, but overall this was still pretty enjoyable.
It's no install or nothingness or stash muzik, but this is a pretty awesome label debut, I'm excited for what xav does next.
It's been just over 5 and a half years since Stepa J. Groggs passed away.
Since then, we haven't heart much from Ritchie and Parkey Corey. In 2021 they released By the Time I Get to Phoenix as Injury Reserve, an album largely about the loss of Groggs, formed by the scraps of the album the trio was working on before his passing. 2 years later, the Double Trio single was released, Ritchie and Parker retired to Injury Reserve name to honour Groggs, instead choosing to continue making ... read more
mink's best work since London's Saviour.
I was already extremely hyped for Terrified, but after this EP, I honestly wouldn't be super surprised if it ended up being my personal pick for AOTY. The production on this thing definitely leads more in a mainstream direction, blending the stylings of jerk and cloud rap, but I honestly love it. It's not as creative or crazy as some of his earlier work, but what it lacks in that regard it more than makes up for in it's ... read more
A project that deserves more attention. In fact, I'm gonna make this my pinned review so that more people see this.
e-dubble never created any honestly incredible projects in his life in my opinion, Straight Outta St. Mary's is alright, hip-hop is good is a painfully average album, Reset was a decent EP, and Two Tone Rebel had potential but just feels unfinished. In his tragically short career however, the one thing that e-dubble did make that I think is honestly just incredible is ... read more
i'm tired of artists doing this taylor swift re-issue, chromakopia+ type shit, if the deluxe actually exists and is a similar quality reissue, it can be kept, this should've just been a single
the loss purple swag chapter 2, out of this world, and especially kissin pink (which is one of my favourite rocky songs ever) make this a less good version of the album, but purple swag is a worthy replacement for the original track and sandman is a masterpiece, so this is still a fantastic way to listen
THIS WAS WORTH THE WAIT I DO NOT CARE
I have been waiting for this shit for so, SO god damn long, and maybe because of that, I'm forcing myself to adore this, but I don't care, this album is great, the production is amazing, Rocky's flows are fantastic, the features are almost all fire, it's just such an incredible album.
Definitely an upgrade from testing, whole thing is catchy, people hating on STFU hate fun, and AIR FORCE is a banger.
AOTY contender this early is ... read more
