A nice atmospheric ambient album. While nothing groundbreaking, a good chunk of this album showcases a really dark atmosphere that works a decent bit. Though I will admit, the first half of this album isn't nearly as strong as the 2nd half, which kind of prevented this album from being as great as it could've been. Also some songs can tend to drag on a bit, but that's not a massive issue throughout the album. Apparently this is a ... read more
Yeah bro, he absolutely missed here. The beat is absolute trash, and slayr's performances on it weren't anything all that good either.
This is without a doubt, the best album Kim Petras has made. It has some of her catchest and most fun songs to date, and vocally she almost reminds me of N1A/Pop 2 era Charli XCX on here (which makes sense since she featured on one of those mixtapes). I really enjoyed this one.

The first Boards Of Canada in 13 years, and it is exactly what I expected from them. They definitely still have it after all this time. It has a very similar sound and mood as Geogaddi, but with a more ethereal edge, and I think it really panned out. Tracks like Naraka, Blood In The Labyrinth, and You Retreat In Time And Space are up there with the best Boards Of Canada songs too. There isn't a single bad moment on here.

This is definitely Danny Brown's magnum opus. It's one of those albums that absorbs you into the life of the artist in question, this being a downward spiral into addiction for Danny. And the tone of the album matches the absolute insane lyrics too. Danny Brown has always had one of the most unique voices in hip hop. His voice can sound good on almost any type of beat. And so many iconic tracks too: Really Doe, Ain't It Funny, When It Rains. This is a masterpiece.

Funnily enough this is probably one of the better things attached to MGK's name, but he does still drag this album down by quite a lot. Wiz Khalifa is fine enough here.
