Sufjan Stevens - Javelin

Radiohead - Kid A

A go to for reading sessions and depressive episodes! :D

Jockstrap - I Love You Jennifer B
83

The string orchestra is one of the strongest points of 'I Love You Jennifer B' but unfortunately the experimentation sometimes messes the atmosphere up. Georgia Ellery vocals are stunning and I think tracks like 'What's It All About?' compliments her voice way better than the more "messy" ones. 'Concrete Over Water' could be easily a 10/10 song if it wasn't for that post-chorus, although I think the transitions are very subtle and gentle.

Jockstrap - Love Is the Key to the City

'Hayley' and 'I Want Another Affair' sounds like music that would be in a Nintendo DS game. I also love how grandiose 'Outro' sounds, it looks like a song made for an independent indie movie.

Jonny Greenwood - Phantom Thread

The things I'd do to hear 'House of Woodcock' for the first time again.

Men I Trust - Billie Toppy

A lot of 80's influence on here.

[Shoji Meguro] - Persona 5: Original Soundtrack

Clairo - Sling
82

The production on this project is so well put together (sometimes Jack Antonoff does a really great job). The strings are so charming and the melodies are so beautiful and endearing. A perfect album to listen to at night, it instantly warms my heart and gives me chills. I absolutely love the discussion and reflections she has on parenthood throughout the lyrics. As time goes by, 'Sling' has become one of my comfort albuns and listening to it just makes me so happy. I can't wait for what's ahead ... read more

Radiohead - In Rainbows

A timeless record. Thank you so much for this masterpiece, Radiohead! :)

Clairo - Immunity
71

'Immmunity' feels to me more of a collection of songs rather than an album. I really enjoy a few things of the tracks, for example: the drums in 'Impossible' are so groovy, the melodies of 'Closer to You' are so pretty and the waltzy 'Sinking' is a great addicton to the track list, specially 'Softly' and 'Sofia' which are my favourites out of the entire LP. I think the lyrics are cute and it represents pretty well some of the feelings of what is like falling in love during your 20's.

Mitski - Be the Cowboy

Harry Styles - Fine Line
43

Taylor Swift - reputation
NR

I dislike almost everything about this album from front to back. The concept? Cringe. The art work? Lame. The lyrics? Plain. The production? It doesn't fit Taylor at all and it is so mediocre and generic. I barely revisit this project, even the tracks that I enjoy a bit like 'Don't Blame Me', 'Dress' and 'Call It What You Want'. With all that being said, Famous > Look What You Made Me Do.
