I think it's pretty fitting that this album opens with 'heavenward' because this whole album is pretty heavenly.

Best album of all time?!? I mean it's good, but it's not THAT good. I actually LOVE 4 songs on 'Thriller' (the opener and the three obvious ones), and 'Human Nature' and 'PYT' are still undeniably good even if they aren't personal favourites. Practically perfect pop.
‘Parallel lines’ is probably not an album many people consider to be one of the best of all time, so maybe I’m the first. Every song on here is just so happy and uplifting.
‘Heart of glass’ is pretty obviously incredible and its status as the first new wave song to hit no.1 makes it even more legendary. ‘Sunday girl’ is a lovely little song, and ‘Picture this’ is a personal favourite of mine.

‘Dreamland’ is the moment that the 80s became the 90s. Although it is a bit weighed back by the 80s cheesy backing vocals, ‘Dreamland’ takes an immediate dive into the house music of the 90s and does so very well.
