"Nice Dream... If you think you belong enough..."
If someone were to ask me the question "What's one album that changed your life?" I'd show them this. This isn't just my favorite Radiohead album, this may be (at the time of writing) my favorite album period. Every song on this album is a 10/10 both lyrically and instrumentally. I can't give you a single stand-out track because of just how incredible the tracklist is, but the painful emotion in ... read more
Rewind 4 years or so, and I would’ve told you that this album sucked donkey dick. For whatever incomprehensible reason, middle school me hated this album (i blame my want to be different for that one). Communist Daughter (brings me to tears every listen)

Most people consider Synchronicity (an album that I personally dislike) to be The Police's best album. However, I really enjoyed every single song on Reggatta de Blanc. By no means would I call it a masterpiece, but you cannot ignore the catchiness of the melodies and the lyrics. Also, being a huge Soda Stereo fan, I couldn't ignore all the clear influences that this album had on Gustavo Cerati's earlier works. Such an influential band, with such great sound.

Just listen to this song alone and you can just feel the vision. "No Me Destruyas" and "Paula" have to be my two favorite Mexican-Rock songs of all time. Melodies like early 2000's Britpop and indie-pop, while still keeping that Strokes-Type indie-rock ... read more
In the past month or so, this has become one of my all-time favorite live albums. I used to be a fan of Zoé in elementary, having been introduced to the band through a friend I had who was Mexican, though I had entirely forgotten about the band until this album came up on my radar again. Despite this being a live album, this is undoubtedly their best work. Acoustic renditions of their best songs complete with string instruments in the background make this completely stand-alone.
