This thing is very consistent throughout (EXCLUDING THE DAMN INTERLUDES OF COURSE). This is well-made pop production, and it sounds so incredible. Not too much to say though, other than the fact this is one of the better albums this year (along with JPEGMAFIA and Parannoul).
This was interesting to hear after the fact this came out on streaming after a whole decade. Seems that Quintana, Pt. 2 had been shortened (no T.I.), and it's remastered? Anyways, DYSTI is pretty cool, and the first two tracks are great. Rest can either fall flat or are good enough. I didn't really enjoy the bonus track though. Anyways, this is pretty good.
Sensational (didn't even bother giving actual thoughts, since people here done that, and I'm giving this a 100)
I don't exactly remember how I found this thing. Anyways, besides that, I also found out this is literally insane. The tracks here feel like a disaster that's going through your head. Survival of the Cutest! and Green Mio were pretty cool, and some of the tracks are cool. One thing though, and that is Magic Spell That Accelerates Hearing is too fucking short (37 seconds what the fuck), but it uses the length right (if you could even say that?). Anyways, this right here is pretty good.
Had to listen to this since this was the only version I could listen to on streaming services, and holy fucking shit, this is just as amazing as LYSFLATH (imo). Only 3 tracks (they're long as fuck) and they go through A LOT. This shit is also well made (not a lot to say tho ):)
The title track is probably one of the greatest (and darkest, although it might not be) songs of all time. The trumpets on that song lowkey scared the fuck out of me. And as for the rest of the album, amazing. The songwriting is incredible, and the instrumentation is really cool. Brazil was fucking COOKING
A nice Weatherday side project that isn't anything too crazy, but it is kinda worth checking it out?
Walk On By is so good, By The Time I Get To Phoenix is a bit overlong (for me, because half of it is spoken word) but still great.
This has changed soul like FOREVER. However, the last track is crazy long, but everything else is incredible.
Dynamic Duo 2 is literally one of the funniest songs I've heard up to this point in my life. As for the other songs, it wasn't anything too special (Dark Web was the only song besides DD2 I added to my playlist).
Vocals here are a bit messy (if you could say that), but then again, Jordan was young (14 - 15 years old) when this came about.
Chum is one of my favorite Earl tracks (Solace is still #1 though), but the album is inconsistent. Some good tracks, great tracks, and there's mid tracks. No yellow tracks for me, but it's close.
This is good, but it is important to know where the artist (AOTY user!!!) was (mentally) while making this EP. It's pretty sad to hear the whole thing behind this. Wishing sam the best of luck.. Anyways, the cutoff in b is pretty weird.
Some of these tracks were a pain in the ASS to listen to, but The Narrow Way Part 3 and the live recordings were cool.
