Good album. I don't know why so much hype or so many fans but I don't think it's something out of the ordinary. Cameron's voice is very particular. Sometimes you want to listen to it sometimes it doesn't fit with the music but in itself there are two songs that don't hit much and they just seem to me filler. The production is beautiful and the lyrics are very heartbreaking. fav: 100 horses

Something I thought impossible this year was done by this group. I'm so happy for the great and memorable album that is Racing Mount Pleasent. The instrumentation is impeccable, the writing is a story and the voices are the perfect complement. If it wasn't because the last songs needed a better staging, this would definitely have been the great jazz rock and art rock album I was waiting for. Mi primer álbum completo de Rosalía y es una puta joya. Que tan bendecido puedo estar para poder escuchar esto en el momento indicado. Con delicadeza, miedos y un gran amor a Dios me atrapa en todo momento. Holy shit. This album is more than beautiful, the rawness, production and intimacy is majestic. I have no words to describe a jazz rock jewel of this caliber. Unfortunately, I think the problem was on the more technical side. The arrangements could have been much more shocking and a perfect mix would have put me on the edge of the chair as the last two songs did. fav: reconcile
