Probably one of the, if not the most artsy releases from Def Jux, a difficult title to hold. Though very unpolished I see the vision and i really enjoyed this EP. Oxycontin crazy doe
Super cool deep cuts from Rob, Lif and Palko and the rest are either songs i've already heard on albums or ight
It has very gritty and homemade vibe unlike anything on his solo albums and he was honestly doing some of his best production work in this era
Immaculate vibes but the lows were pretty low (sanctified & that's what i get). Atleast the first track was an absolute BANGER.
Please seperate the mouse from the ceelo green
Edit: Tomorrow died today is a generational song
Definitely different from anything i've ever heard from Shadow, but im here for it. A good half of the songs feel a bit underwhelming for his ability but there are some hidden gems like Bergschrund and Depth Charge. The opening track is also a vibe but I can't see myself having it on a playlist
