Upon my first time of exposure to this musical experience, I was floored by the wonder of it. The ability transform and improve upon the blueprint from his peers DaBabby and Roddy Rich, he has elevated their simple and mundane song to an other worldly piece of art transcending what i believed capable from the human mind and body. The events following my first euphoric listen changed me, i am no longer the same man. I understand my purpose in life and what i was created to do. It is beyond ... read more
i quite frankly dont understand the hate this is a fun and catchy song. I enjoy the lush instrumental as well as the carefree lyrics. Hate is honestly forced
Disappeared for a couple months not that you missed me but this albums great really fun nothing to dislike in it just good music
This albums pretty good for the first half. We start with the track Water Under the Bridge, I love the intro to this track the minimal bell melody and drum beat combined with Boldy’s monotone flow feels like it’s leading to something cool and the chorus sort of ends up disappointing, it’s not all that catchy tbh. However the next three tracks are amongst the best In Boldy’s catalogue, they hit hard, have catchy choruses and killer verses. Out of list I would say game ... read more
I was holding back tears listening to this when I heard the auto tune on the first song I should have realized this would be shit. Yet allas I kept listening and was rewarded with TITTIES TITTIES TITTIES and like out of key 808s terrible auto tune, the most obvious sounding midi piano playing an absolutely shit chord progression. The flattest trap best ever and emo guitar songs with what sounds like an NY drill artist as a feature (but idk who euro is). Slip and kat food where alright the rest ... read more
This song has a fun carefree beat and dex sounds like he’s just having the best time in the studio and the dexter adlibs are so fun. Allso am I tripping or did Drake steal his flow on siko mode or it some sort of popular flow/reference because the resemblance is uncanny.
It’s a great beat but I’m giving it a zero as the reason this song exists deliberately meant to be so you can listen to the beat with out lil b witch pisses me off to no end as who on earth would listen to this over the lil b version he’s not even credited. It feels disrespectful and adds to this narrative I see when people only care about I’m god cos of the beat and disrespect lil b.
Not only is this song lazy from rocky the layers vocals don’t fit over this beat it sounds like shit. Ik Lil b has nothing to do with this actual song but not only did rocky kind of use the sound he popularized and used it to sling shot him self into stardom and didn’t really do anything to help lil b but didn’t even credit him on this lazy ass song. This mashup feels like rocky capitalizing on the love the I’m god beat without giving anything back to lil b it was for ... read more
I like this song the beat is goes supper hard, theirs some cool disses and Drake flows well on it. But I could give less of a fuck about the meek mill vs Drake beef
This is a short ep/album (I don’t know witch it is tbh) but over all i feel that its length dosent diminish from its quality.
Unlike most idk projects this album doesn’t have a concept linking all the tracks together but it still feels like a curated album and the tracks flow together nicely.
The production can be boiled down to these airy and fun melodys with calming undertones combined with fun, bouncy and electronic drums layers with these groovy percussive loops.
When It ... read more
This album barley holds a candle to thugs better projects like Jeffrey or Slime Season 3 but it’s still great and did a lot for thugs career.
The production consists of minimal trap beats(this isn’t an issue btw) and thugs hooks shine like the top of a bald head. I can’t forget the chorus to songs like With That , Check , Halftime, Never Had It and pretty much any of these songs.
My main issue with this album is the features a lot of them completely ruin the song a list of ... read more
Jcole and Mike will made it is a recipe for Gucci mane to carry the shit out of this song but overall every one did something cool ands it’s fun ig.
It’s a fine song. The tracks got a cool psychedelic beat and hearing Earl on a trap beat is pretty nice but the tracks short and the hook doesn’t sound like a hook it just sounds like verse thats repeated for some reason.
It’s a good song but a little generic for Earl and Mike they got a bunch of other songs that sound the same and sound better
RIP Aubrey Drake Graham we miss you still to this day can’t believe it’s been five years since you passed away
This albums great really groovy stuff only issue is that the last track is cringe rock music that’s really mid and looses the charm of the rest of the album
The soundscape is so amazing it just sucks you into it’s own world which I can just describe as campfire music
I know no one cares about this song anymore but I was possessed into reviewing it , it’s just so fun
