To begin with, I want to put some focus on how I felt about Rebecca Black before this album. 'Rebecca Black Was Here' was a genuinely great pop EP, showing a great future for Rebecca as a more experimental 'hyper-pop' artist. Rina Sawayama, on her second studio album, delivers a story of getting through childhood trauma and looking into your inner child with a collection of her most person and cleanly produced songs yet.
