the first few tracks are so calming and RIGHT where it would get boring it plays this loud ass noise song that's... really nicely textured!

It really doesn't do much for me, even as someone who loves black metal.

Most of these songs are just... Aimless meandering. The climax of a few of the songs are fantastic, however Sadness focuses too much on the sleepy and untextured build-ups for them to feel super special.

This record has some great guitars, and a great concept, however there are some glaring issues.

One of these being it's aimlessness. Most of this album feels like slow Doom-Metal branded meandering, it has slow, boring, nothing-burger passages that go on for ages with no real pay off.

In the mist of these dark and pointless sections are some great guitar riffs however, and some nice textures that really sell the desolate aesthetic.
