This entire album is dopamine inducing. A musical form of a massage chair. The adept incorporation of dub & dream pop is amazing. The album's soundscape is soothingly atmospheric, yet playful. The guitars are soaked in effects, often utilizing summer-packed & groovy progressions. Not to mention the quirky set of samples thrown around the album (that Streetwise sample on Nice Choice tho). Fishmans is a group that I’ve been meaning to go deeper into for a while now, and from this first sampling of their work, I’m excited to see what they provide. Production is pretty great on here, really loved the dreamy and almost fuzzy aesthetic on a lot of these tracks. And the vocals really push this feeling quite a lot.
