This is just Jon Benjamin, an actor, trying to play piano in a jazz setting. This album is filled with laughs due to hearing him play nonsense, and when he actually does play things that fit it makes it that much funnier.
My mom listened to this song over and over and over in the car so I have a deep hatred of this song. I don't understand why this song blew up. The lyrics are garbage, the beat is weird, and it's such an annoying song. The only reason this song became popular is due to people trying to find the uncensored music video so they can pleasure themselves
This is a masterpiece. That's all that can really be said about it. It's filled with so much creativity and filled with so much passion. This album is seen as overrated, but there's a reason it is. It's just that good of an album. Out of everyone I've met, I've only met one person in my life who doesn't like this album.
And like that, they were gone. Is Sorry for Party Rocking good? To me, it depends on if you were conscious during the time this song came out. It just sounds like 2011 and while that is a good thing, to me, it just aged terribly.
I'm not a hard rock or metal guy by any means, but Jesus Christ on a Crutch this album is fantastic. So many memorable riffs, lyrics are amazing, and it while always make me want to head bang. To me, this is the best metal album ever released.
The Car is a good album, however to me it feels like TBH&C PT.2. I was hoping to hear something new, but I can vibe to this album. The song writing is fantastic is the saving grace of this album. While my least favorite of the recent releases, it's still solid.
While a complete departure from their previous albums, it has a strange charm to it. It reminds me of Sgt. Peppers with the songs going right into the next flawlessly. It's almost like an art project due to how imaginative all of the songs are.
I hadn't heard any of their songs since Pumped Up Kicks came out. I decided to check them out to see if they have released any music since and I was pleasantly surprised. It was new and sounded like they're innovating, not trying to redo Pumped Up Kicks.
Do you like weird Indie music? If you do, then this stuff is up your alley! This album was an acquired taste to me. I didn't like it all at first, but after taking time to listen to it a second time I actually enjoyed it
Alex Turner and Miles Kane are an amazing duo. This album was a blast to listen to during COVID and made it so much more tolerable. It made me feel like I was in high school again.
This single that's been stuck in my head for weeks. Absofacto's voice is just so good to listen to and I'm a sucker for the harmony that he uses.
"Let's Rock" seems to take some inspiration from the rock sounds of the 60s which just sounds so good. This album has made me take an interest in The Black Keys
A super chill album that has some of my favorite songs I've ever listened to. This is Glass Animal's strongest album in my opinion. It sounds like there was a lot of experimentation and it really paid off. This album is full of chill songs that honestly are just such a vibe.
This was my first album I heard by Arctic Monkeys back in 2014 and I haven't stopped listening to it since. It's their best album which says a lot about how great their other albums are. I know it's not considered "Indie" by hardcore fans of Arctic Monkeys, but it just has an amazing new sound that's hard to describe. Would highly recommend to anyone who wants to start listening to Arctic Monkeys.
