This is some pretty incredible deathrash. Really fitting into that late 80s scene this band should've blown up from this. The bass work is the highlight here, but the intricate songwriting and the vocals are also great. A must listen for anyone who is a fan of the late 80s death/thrash explosion
Gonna do a bit of a deep dive into Thrash from the great white north, and this thing is awesome. It's so technical for the time, and while it can be a bit much at first, when it properly gets into the groove it's so good. They write technically but it doesn't get in the way of the songs being memorable and enjoyable throughout
A bit bloated at times, and I think the mixing on the first half especially is kinda just straight up bad, with the vocals sometimes getting completely lost in the mix. The second half is definitely my favourite, with a lot of the darker lyrical themes and the instrumentation and arrangements just connecting to me more, but the whole album is a tonne of fun
This was a really nice album! It very much is in the style of Nebraska which does help with my enjoyment of it, but I think it's going to take a couple more listens for me to really grab onto stuff like the lyrics of it
It's ok, but outside a couple of really good songs like the title track and Roll the Dice this album just feels very fillery. Without the E Street band his music is nowhere as memorable as it should be, and it almost feels like him sleepwalking through the album
This was really unenjoyable. The bad music and vocals weren't enough to make up for the really edgy reddit lyrics that were more annoying and juvenile than offensive
The production hasn't aged as well as on previous releases and there's a couple songs I don't really like, but this is still just such a fun album
Very similar thoughts to the album beforehand, but everything is even better. The production feels even more perfect somehow, and this thing is just crammed with bangers
Just pure fun. The production feels perfect for this sorta thing, not too clean with having a lot of grit, especially on his vocals, and some all time bangers
There is some bias here as I am friendly with the singer of this band, but this is right up my alley. Irish trad with a really great vocal on a lot of the songs that just give such a nice vibe to the songs. My main complaint is I do think the songs are a bit samey, but not to a point where they become unlistenable. I love the production on here, and this is well worth your time
This demo rips, easily one of the best things i've heard all year. Really looking forward to what this band do next
Pretty fun metal, but again nothing thats all too new. I do like the production and the difference in the vocalist compared to so much of what you get these days
This thing rips. Great metalpunk with a rough and perfect style production, some awesome vocals and a killer attitude. Wish I had heard this last year as it would have definitely made my list
It's not the most original thing ever but the guitar playing on here is worth the price of admission alone
Really good extreme metal. It's nothing too groundbreaking or anything and it can get a bit samey, but it is very enjoyable, and I think live this will be great
Pretty solid modern trad. It does kinda stick at the same pace for a lot of the runtime which does mean it drags a little, but there is a great production and vibe on this
It's solid, I really like the production on this. But it does get kinda get a bit repetitive towards the end, and the riffs and vocals can only save it so much
Listening to this cos they're playing a fest I'm going to and this shit was pretty generic boring music with very annoying vocals
