Bergtatt is amazing for several differing reasons. This album is so special to me. It feels like its such a slept on album in the black metal community. The man, the myth, and the legend. Grausamkeit is the one man black metal artist that you hear A LOT about in the black metal community. Sure I've listened to Grausamkeit, but only the song Kratze (sad I am entirely aware). Kratze showed up on my youtube reccomendations one time when i was searching for some based DSBM bands to get into. Demolition of Human Construct is a completely different flavor of Gulch that I'm not exactly used too. Very grindy. Not hating though, this shit bangs. Almost sludge in a hardcore kinda way if I'm being completely honest. Circle pits for days.
I wouldn't put this EP on the top of my list for Gulch's discography... but I can't sit here and say that its bad. This is great. I think I just need to listen to it more to actually understand it if that makes sense.

Think I'm crazy, but when i heard the first song in this EP i thought it was a black metal song lmao. I FUCKING LOVE GULCH. Every song they have released I have loved so far. And 2019 is not an exception. I just wish that it was longer. I need more Gulch in my chud of a life.
There's something about their distortion on the vocals and guitars that just gets me going. Could they be my favorite Hardcore band??? I don't know yet. But it's starting to seem that way.
