Was it?
Ehhhhhh, knowing that I haven't spent a second waiting for this I guess it was worth the wait, but it being worth waiting zero seconds for doesn't make it something worth waiting for, so I'm still of the opinion that the answer is 'no'.
The reason for that answer is mostly the production, maybe this raw/unfiltered/unfinished/messy/ugly production style is something that hasn't clicked with me yet, but even if it will I don't think it's gonna be ... read more
If the most engaging quality of your rapping performances is your mic checks, maybe you should reconsider your career.
The sequel to the legendary 'Alfredo', which released five years prior, makes the same mistakes without achieving the same successes.
One half of the album is made up by The underground-famous producer 'The Alchemist', whose beats on this album are relaxed, sample heavy and make up the jazz in this "jazz" rap, or in other words, BORINGGGG.

I have never been this disappointed by an album, how is there not a single song on this hour long album that would even be top 5 on Dangerous Summer?
Only 3 actually amazing songs and the rest is mostly a slog to get through. The beats he raps on suddenly became mindnumbingly boring and Yeat truly matches that non-existant level of energy.
I don't even know what more to say cause the album has so little that's even worth tallking about, hopefully this isn't the begon of a ... read more
Legitimately better than the original
Why the fuck are people complaining, this production is so cool for a yeat song.
Incredibly well produced and performed, but none of the melodies or riffs are hooky enough to seperate this album from the many others in the genre.
Creatively and physically bankrupt.
'The Romantic' is a genre-blending album that grabs the most generic and least interesting qualities from each of it's influences and as a consequence every song ends up being the most radio-processed R&B-pop-soul slop imaginable.
The entire album screams entitlement from thinking he's able to pull off these styles he doesn't seem to know anything of, to these fuckass lyrics, I swear 'God Was Showing Off' is fucking ... read more
those last three tracks, especially STUTTER!, really save this album
Has both one amazing highlight and a terrible lowlight with trial and error and perfect bitch, outside of those tracks everything sounds great, but nothing sticks
I was kind of expecting little personality from madison beer based on reviews I read and what I previously knew about her, but I wasn't expecting the production to be even emptier
I feel like these deluxe tracks lack a lot of the personality jade showed off on the original album, if I had to give my 5 favorite songs off this album, use me would be the only deluxe track I would even consider
