Hayley Williams - Petals for Armor

Despite being an avid Paramore fan, I wasn't aware Hayley Williams made her own solo music until recently. I wasn't sure if I was going to like this album at first since it's different from what I'm used to hearing from Hayley, but I was honestly very surprised. This is a very good solo project from her and I love how unique it is. Definitely different as I mentioned, but certainly a fun listen.

Paramore covering songs from other bands is always a fun and interesting experience, especially since they don't do it often. Overall, I ... read more

The music has certainly evolved since the days of Insomnia, but it's evolved in a great way. The music has emotion and manages to keep the unique style that Johnny Manchild always provides. The variety of instruments and feelings each song provides truly shows just how much effort was put into this album. As someone who has enjoyed the previous albums by ... read more

Reminds me of Brick, the township in New Jersey. 10/10
