I have to be honest, I'm a little disappointed. Midwxst is a very talented up and coming artist who has loads of potential, but I'm really not feeling his debut album. He's pretty well known for his hyperpop sound, and on this album he deviates from it a little bit. There's a lot of pop and rock elements sprinkled throughout the production on this project, which makes for a different sound than the other stuff Midwxst has made. Don't get me wrong, there's definitely some hyperpop stuff on here too, but you can tell Midwxst is trying to go in a different direction on this. I have to say I think the production is really good, but this album really gets brought down by Midwxst's performance and the repetitive songs. Midwxst's singing isn't bad by any means, but holy shit does it get annoying when he does the same exact singing on almost every single song. The song structures are extremely similar from track-to-track, and mostly everything becomes forgettable. This album doesn't have any bad songs, just a bunch of tracks that blend in together, lacking in uniqueness to make them stand out. I have to say though the song Warning is absolutely amazing, and I highly recommend you listen to it. Regardless, I think Midwxst could've done better here, but this album isn't bad just highly disappointing.
