Kendrick Lamar's cousin, Minecraft YouTuber and fellow Openclaw user Baby Keem finally dropped a new album! For whatever reason, Baby Keem really didn't capitalize on the momentum that he built back in 2021. I think it's fair to argue that hits like 'Orange Soda' were really when Baby Keem started to pop. However, I think family ties propelled him into the stratosphere and put him on an entirely new level. Obviously, it's just one single, but that single had an ... read more
If you're someone who's new to Lucki's music, doing a chronological listen of his discography is one of the most rewarding things you could do. That's because his music is great from the get-go. Unfortunately, when you eventually arrive at modern Lucki projects, you will often end up disappointed. This is precisely what's happened to me with Lucki's latest releases. I feel like the last actually "good" project he's released is the filthy project. ... read more
Judging by how absolutely incredible the singles were, I was expecting great things from this new underscores album. While I don't think this album quite met those expectations, it was still a pretty great first listen. I actually didn't really get into underscores until quite recently. If you've been on my account at all, you would probably know that Danny Brown is one of my favorite artists, and on his latest album 'Stardust' he really dove into that EDM/pop space, ... read more
Covert Coup is such an underrated banger of an album. It's aged so gracefully too, like Alchemist has genuinely one of the most impressive production catalogues I've ever seen. This album has such a hazy vibe that the Alchemist just excels in. There are some pretty insane beats on here, and Double 07 instantly became one of my favorite Alchemist beats as soon as I heard it. Honestly, every beat on here is fire. This was a really good showing for Uncle Al without a doubt. Scottie ... read more
We finally have a full-length project by tsubi club! This is just one of those groups you discover on a whim while listening to random recommended songs on Spotify. That's how I discovered them after all. Like many others, I discovered them through the song 'burbank house', which immediately captured my interest. Unfortunately, besides a couple of singles and some remixes, tsubi club was pretty damn inactive. However, the group is officially back with an album that's a lot ... read more
This is the least Yeat-sounding album out of any of Yeat's albums, if that makes any sense. ADL was really marketed and presented as one of Yeat's BIGGEST albums. Not only was it supposed to be big in terms of its impact, but it was also a double album. There was even an EP called "Dangerous Summer," which was essentially the prequel to this album. That EP might be one of my favorite Yeat projects he's ever released. So, I was pretty damn excited heading into this ... read more
