so glad he locked in on his vision and took the time to embellish it. the music video is otherworldly dude.. feels so much more like a passion project rather than some generic accompanying visual and i love it for that.
3 year waiting bias but personally i think it'll be hard to top this as song of the year
the bangers BANG but there is a decent bit of slop. still decent
Favourite Track(s): WHITE FLAG, GUN SMOKE, THROW UP, SO WHAT, E30, THREATS, NO MASK
bright, colourful and vibrant, charli's newest effort is her most consistent and enjoyable yet. while less daring in its experimentation compared to some of my favourite releases of hers, such as her pandemic record "how i'm feeling now", brat remains as a star-studded accomplishment for pop this year. massive fan of this album
Favourite Track(s): 360, Club classics, Sympathy is a knife, Talk talk, Von dutch, Everything is romantic, So I, Girl, so confusing, B2b, Mean ... read more
one of the best songs to hit in a WHILE. the humming in this song is infectious
if i could give waster more than a 100 i would with no hesitation

a fever dream of an album. definitely gives off wod energy and sounds like bladee's most consistently aggressive record in terms of production and delivery, however there still remains a handful of blissful and enchanting cuts that have equally moving lyrics and subtle yet grand instrumentals. they sound like complete detours from what the majority of the tracks suggest the album's sound would collectively be summarised as but it all works in a bizarre and alluring way.

a lot of people can agree that a switch up sonically from funeral was desired. while on each funeral release you'll always be able to pick out a handful of great tracks, as a cohesive listen it can become repetitive. and considering he's pretty much been following the same sound since his eviscerated days, his music can become, while still enjoyable to an extent, stale.
funeral sounds much more emotionally charged on this album through both his lyrics and his production. it definitely feels ... read more
surprised that i enjoyed this as much as i did. as bloated as it is this project has a lot of really engaging instrumentals, and autumn! for the most part sounds like he knows what he's doing on each track

i think this is honestly one of my favourite releases from any artist in a very long time. i get if glaive isn't everyone's cup of tea but the experimentation, abrasiveness and eccentricity this ep boasts is hard to pass off. this ep feels like a massive breath of fresh air and glaive has showcased his creativity at a never-before-seen level. i'm so happy it was as good as i anticipated it would've been.
ok im glazing like crazy but u get the message this shit is so fucking good PLEASE listen ... read more
this album is so fucking cool. definitely yeat's most colourful, expansive and sonically and lyrically compelling project to date. the industrial tangs and foul synths in the production sound incredible and fit the aesthetic so well, and yeat sounds better than ever.
Favourite Track(s): Psycho CEO, Breathe, More, U Should Know, Lyfestyle, ILUV, Tell me, Shade, Keep Pushin, Team ceo, Stand On It, If We Being Real, 1093
hearing this as a full experience is so rewarding. probably my favourite work from quad, has some beautiful instrumentation and incredible crescendos
Favourite Track(s): DUSTCUTTER, A LA CARTE, PRETTY PRIVILEGE, WHAT'S IT TO HIM?, U DON'T KNOW ME LIKE THAT, GUESS WHO?, U TRIED THAT THING WHERE UR HUMAN, GUIDE DOG, TEXAS BLUE
bladee discography journey #1 // gluee
very interesting listen, normally i dig bladee's more trap / pop-adjacent songs but i decided to take this mixtape's reputation with a grain of salt and have an open mind
production was definitely a standout throughout this record, the singing being off-key adds to the whole drugged-out aesthetic of everything which completes the experience and makes it very immersive
while there was nothing here that intrigued me dramatically it was still a great listen ... read more
as time's passed on, i've come to realise that this is my favourite album of all time. upon my first few listens i was so reluctant to give it praise. i knew it was appreciated as a very dense and complex piece of work that needed a few listens to digest, but i never got it. i ended up giving it a 7/10 on first listen, and even then i was being generous.
this album requires a lot of time to understand. like a lot of time. everything on display within this album is so layered and shrouded in ... read more
central cee did not disappoint.
on a serious note this is definitely a step-up from her first mixtape, which was already phenomenal in and of itself. middle brings the rating down ever so slightly but for the most part the tracks here hold up incredibly well.
capable of love in particular is such a gorgeously captivating song; the wedding bells, breakbeat switches, the singing... it's one of the prettiest songs i've heard this year for sure

one of the prettiest and most sincerely heartbreaking listens i've had in a while. a lot of beautiful moments on here, the powerful moments are great and the vocals are stunning. genuine tear-jerker at times.
Favourite Tracks: Goodbye Evergreen, A Running Start, Will Anybody Ever Love Me?, Everything That Rises, So You Are Tired, Shit Talk
some songs here and there sound obnoxious at times, but for the most part this goes crazy. jailbreak the tesla was my introduction to injury reserve and that amine verse to this day is one of the hardest verses i've ever heard
Favourite Tracks: Koruna & Lime, Jailbreak the Tesla, Gravy n' Biscuits, Rap Song Tutorial, Wax On, What a Year It's Been, Best Spot in the House, Three Man Weave
