ok i got some shit to SAY about this one:
this album is just. Deftones doing Deftones again. for the N'th time in a row. And I'm really not enchanted by this release or the band anymore. They were one of, if not my favorite band at one point in my life. Pretty much since I've been a fan of theirs, they've been releasing the same album again and again. this rating is solely on a mixing/mastering experience. I give the 2005 release a 70/100 - as it is a good album!!
I don't particularly enjoy the pitch-corrected vocals. The bass sounds good in this version though.. I think it is a trade off that is, in my opinion still worth a listen, but not over the original version.
