the production is amazing but it was a really peculiar choice to have every feature be incalculably better than carti's own vocals

This project has some good ideas (even one or two good songs) but the messy production really weighs this down. Plus I don't think zheani should be leaning into hyperpop more. It doesn't really suit her as opposed to the prodigy inspired sound from her previous project which really gave zheani her own recognizable sound apart from every other trap metal artist. P.s I'm high writing this.
This album is not as concise as their previous record. Definitely feels more like a stream of Trent's continence, And it's better off for it. Hauntingly beautiful yet hard as all hell. Up there with The Empire Strikes Back and Judgement Day as one of the best sequels of all time.
I cannot review this album fairly because of how much it means to me. This album is most likely the reason I love music today. Despite the "graphic design is my passion" cover art, this project is not something to be slept on. Gone is the dated production and here is the god damn rage. This takes the the electronic sound and the hooks from PHM and grits them up to the point of being unrecognisable and tops it off by turning up the Ministry influence to 11 while also crunching the hell out of the guitars.
