Future's self titled is what you should expect from a purely trap focused project from him. Really just a very long streak of bangers occasionally interrupted by one or two slightly weaker songs.
The only real gripes I have with the project are the weird radio or podcast skits that just drag on for way too long and the lack of diversity. The idea of splitting up the R&B and Trap material to 2 different projects is fun on paper, but as an album ... read more

EVOL sees Future making some very acceptable trap music. Not much in terms of the more R&B side of him... or the banger side either. At least until the end of the tracklist.
The bulk of this album (Ain't No Time - Lie To Me) is the most standard Future stuff you can find anywhere. No real standout moments in sight. However, Program marks a turning point. From that track onwards we hear what the rest of EVOL should've sounded like. 3 bangers ... read more

I get mad zooted, I got this bad thing I recruited. Honestly, what could i possibly say about this album that hasnt been said a million times before already. Arguably the best project to ever come out of the Atlanta trap scene and the most essential and influential album the genre has seen.
