TBH there's just not much substance to this project. it's not bad. But i think there's just not a lot here. The earl half is better btw
super fun pivot from dark times. I hope we get more political hip hop from vince in the future. Hes so much fun.
the production is consistently very good all the way through. the vocal performances on the other hand are a mixed bag. on a lot of songs there are catchy flows and melodies, but other songs are just not that interesting.
I've always loved BROCKHAMPTON, which is why I've put off listening to this album for so long. Truthfully, I avoided this album to protect my idea of them as a group.
For a long time, BROCKHAMPTON existed in my mind as this specific feeling: chaotic, ambitious, imperfect...but alive. Their best music carried this sense of momentum that few other discographies did.
TM is not good. It's definitely not horrible—there are good moments, and sometimes you see glimpses of what ... read more
Decided to come back to this album in preparation for next Friday.
This album is amazing. Every choice feels deliberate. Everything about the album works to create this isolated, detached feeling. It's stark and cold, but composed and restrained. Very cool.
The music is definitely good, but a lot of this tape just isn't the most memorable for me. There are bangers, and then there are songs that are just okay.
I like how off the wall this is and I like how electronic he's gotten. But please, for the love of god, pick a different flow and a different subject matter. This album is fine, people r kinda miserable on here because of the rollout, like, its pretty good, but definitely has some serious weaknesses compared to his other albums
this is pretty shit. I don't really know what the critics see in this. Yes, there is a vision here, and it does feel a little more focused than the other two ? But...It's bad.............Really bad.................
Honestly this is a really good remaster. The project itself is pretty weird, and the original is wayyyy too long to be listenable. But this cuts out a lot of the garbage.
Fun album, not exactly mindblowing but there are some amazing tracks on here. I can just picture myself vibing to this sometimes
really enjoyed this album its got a lot of obvious roots in soul and gospel which are two of my favorite genres
mind-numbingly boring. repetitive. bland. vacuous. insignificant. vapid. insipid. monotonous and unimaginative. jejune. passionless. a tedious listen.
Went back to this for the first time in years.... It's just as terrifying as I remember it. The several minutes of distorted screaming on Fsmh3 are genuinely horrifying.
