PLEASE LISTEN TO THIS, I KNOW IT HAS SHITPOST HUMOR BUT ITS STILL AWESOME ELECTRONIC INDUSTIRAL ART PUNK COLLAGE AHHHHHHHHH
I worked on this, it kinda sucked lol. Primarly because while ann, bless her heart, is a great song writer. She is a TERRIBLE producer and i was forced as the mixer to fix all of her terrible production choices lol
Really underrated, its a perfect modern adapation of devo's sound. I wish they made more stuff like this
Shrimptech served soical commentary and dance-punk
Peak as always from the boys of viagra
Probally my favorite punk album
Is it long? Sure. However it's tracklisting is PERFECT. Before you could start thinking "Ok this is kinda stagnant" they throw something new and off the wall at you. Its so fun and quirky and awesome and honestly just a perfect punk album is very sense of the word
Daddy murphy is litterly the best musician of all time
PLEASE MARRRRY MEE >///<
This is still cool but ehhhh i prefer his other albums. Maybe i am biased because of the tiktok band kid animation meme fabase this album has goten but idk it was just never my favorite. Still cool tho
Its much more quirky and weird than his later albums and scerams "It's 2003, i am 18 years old, and i am just learning what the fuck a music is" but neil is such a talented song writer that it works
It also kicks ass when you are geeked as fuck, shit is the audible equivalent to how i feel on weed
This is about on the same level as Sing To God for me. Its still really fun prog punk but it feels much more devo-esk than their later stuff with its angular guitars and it having more "synths" rather than "keyboards" if that makes sense
Such a peak debut album!
This is THE prog punk album! Its incredibly techinical, hyperactive, and even magical at times.
My only complaint is the first half is LOADED WITH BANGER AFTER BANGER! Then the ladder half kind has tracks that kinda just feel like b-sides with the exception of "Dirty boy" "Bell Clinks" and the amazing remake of earlier cradiacs track "Nurses wispering verses"
But the first half is so fucking peak that i don't even care. Easily one of my favorite albums of ... read more
This was... an intresting album
Its honestly unratable. It's not good, bad, or even average. Its beyond rating. Which to fair was probally its goal
I do have more complaints with it than i do positives tho. The track length being easily one of them. Look i am whore for long songs like my favorite band is LCD Soundsystem and they rely on long repeitive tracks. But see they actually make it interesting and fresh and make it not drag on for that long, you barely register the tracks are as ... read more
