As it goes on it just keeps getting better and better. Simons is a great singer, and the mix of her vocals with the choir and Jansen's vocals works really well. Lowkey the riffing can get repetitive, but this is not an album you listen to for the riffs.
Favorite songs: Cry for the Moon, Run for a Fall, The Phantom Agony.
Least Favorite: Adyta.
Definitely has a different sound and style compared to the rest of their albums.
Big fan of the first 4 songs but I didn't connect with Echoes at all, and I feel like I should. Maybe in a future relisten I'll hear what everyone else is hearing.
