very interesting combination of genres, the lighter and heavier aspects blend together really well.
thank you @emosquidville for the recommendation
it lives up to the hype, even if it is a little (a little) acquired.
a very beautiful piece of music, Wood's vocals fit perfectly with the music, and the instrumentation itself is excellent.
Super strong start that gets kinda iffy in the 3rd quarter, but travis closes it out relatively well. Travis excels at making good, catchy, and pretty interesting (sonically) songs, and for the most part doesnt fail to provide here.
nothing crazy, still good though
I imagine the mainstream discourse on this album will boil down to "bro ts sounds ass" "waited 8 years for this btw"
could he have done more? most definitely. was this a "bad" album? not by any stretch of the imagination. is it aoty? no.
the first Vince album i listened to, honestly blew me away with how good it was. great exploration of his current struggles. very consistently good, i feel like i could listen to it all day and not get tired.
