this is probably a hot take but this is Gojira’s magnum opus, songs like Toxic Garbage Island and Oroborus are the way to start a fucking album. time to address the elephant in the room…..THE ART OF DYING. it’s just perfect, the drums….DEAR ME THE DRUMS, i love it, the story of reflection, the way the guitar is just so beautifully heavy. still won’t get over the drums, it’s probably my favorite song to play other than Song for the Dead
