Ten years of my favorite Radiohead album. I can’t put into words how important this album is to me. I love it so much. Burn the Witch is my favorite track, but Decks Dark, Identikit, and Desert Island Disk are close behind.
The only thing that makes aging rock fans angrier than rock bands being unpopular is rock bands becoming popular again
Feels more like a mixtape than an album, but that’s not a bad thing - it’s actually very interesting to listen to knowing where the experiments with using Ride’s vocals as triggered Vdrum samples would go, it works perfectly as a transition point between the two halves of the band’s career, and it contains two of their best songs ever (Birds & Leopardskin). I like to listen to it when I’m driving around.
These are the true forms of like half the songs here. A perfect representation of an unbelievable live band near the height of their powers and a pretty incredible album in its own right.
This is one of the best albums ever made and I love it with every fiber of my being
at the record company meeting, on their hands a dead star...
no point rating this, I will remember Morrissey as he was and not as he is
I think it’s absolutely beautiful that at any time of day you can go on here and look up this album and there will be multiple new 10/10 reviews posted in the last few hours. Car Seat Headrest genuinely means so very much to me and I’m really glad that this music still finds new listeners
