Kodak Black is easily the greatest rapper of all time and he's done it again here. Greatest. Album. Of. All. Time.
Youngboy has a great start to this mixtape. While the end is lackluster, it's still easily yb's best project this year
Good album by Conway. Definitely not his best, but it had its moments. I actually really liked the production on this, which doesn't seem to be the consensus
Jack Harlow may not make very good music and has only one or two great songs on every album, but he does seem like a good hang.
While not quite up to its standards, Wasn't Built In a Day is a good follow up to last year's best rap album. Production actually better on this one but rhymes weren't quite there
The experimentalism combined with the overall message of the album is outstanding. It's definitely an interesting listen and not for everyone, which is the point.
DT doesn't really do much here, yet it's a Don Toliver album so it's still pretty good. Great voice as always and a couple good verses lowkey thrown in there. But none of these songs touch his best songs on his debut album.
This might be the most Logic album. And it's really good. Logic does a great job touching on all his previous most important topics. While he has a few better albums, Logic proves again that when his head is in the right place he can be a really good rapper.
All I want is for Youngboy to become consistent. He proves again that he's not close
A greatly produced album. Has a nice flow to it as well. Not really much lyricism. My favorite Metro project
Nas tops the first two of the trilogy here. One of the best albums lyrically of 2022.
I really respect WSG challenging himself as a rapper here by having a bunch of top-tier lyricists on here. They outshine him on almost every track, but that's not really a knock on him. I wish WSG himself would have appeared on every track and tried to be competitive against all of these verses. With all this said, this is disappointing for the amount of great rappers on here. We get a lot of good verses but only a few great ones.
