Kinda hard to outdo Fever, especially commercially but also artistically, but this is still a reallyyyyyy good follow-up. I like that she explored genres a lot more on this album whilst still maintaining that mainstream appeal. It's hard to balance, but she managed to do it

Yea I was smart to have only listened to Dopamine and saved the other pre-release singles for my first listen bc it made hearing Sexistential for the first time, in the context of the full album, 10x more enjoyable. Honestly.... my main critique is that it's just too damn short. I really hope Robyn brat-ify's this album (deluxe tracks + remix album of both DJ mixes and guest artists)

Really cool stuff Slayyyter. And I appreciate that she gave us low budget music videos for each song on this album. That's how you know she's dedicated to her craft.

This is up there with The Miseducation of Lauryn Hill as one of those foundational albums that will ultimately define an artists legacy. Brandy could've retired after releasing this album and it still would've solidified her as one of the greatest to do it. Undeniably a step down from the absolute glory of Never Say Never ➡️ Full Moon ➡️ Afrodisiac, but this album is over-hated too much for me.
