Fat Dog - Go Fuck Urself
NR

First bad Fat Dog song 😍

Charli xcx - Rock Music
30

This is genuinely abysmal, what a goddamn shame. There’s potential here but it’s buried under layer upon layer of larp

CG5 - Wrong Side Out
84

I really didn’t want to like this. I really didn’t want to unironically add “CG5 official Poppy Playtime Chapter 5 song” to my playlist.

Passengerprincess - PREY
90

food house but good

underscores - Tell Me (U Want It)
94

The generational u4ya era continues

Aries - TABLOID TALK
76

Underscores’ hook sounds great, but the instrumental and Aries are just alright

Finn Keane - Monopoly
95

This is one of those singles I just HAVE to listen to 3 to 4 times whenever it finds its way into my shuffle - that “I want it all, I want it all, yeah” hook is fucking phenomenal 😩

Erika - I Don't Know
98

Genuine masterpiece of a song. It will not be co-opted by antisemites.

Pink Floyd - Shine On You Crazy Diamond (Pts. 1-9, New Stereo Mix)
NR

get off the 2025 singles list you complete dog shit fuck you

Frost Children - SISTER
93

πŸ’™πŸ’™πŸ’™ I was mixed on this album when it first came out, but after a dozen listens and seeing the Frost Children on the Sister tour, it clicked. EVERY song clicked for me. The amount of detail in each track, the way each song progresses and transforms through each phase, every track here stays true to the core sound of the album while simultaneously expanding the bounds of what can even be considered the style this album adheres to. The Frost Children continue to flex their versatility, ... read more

Danny Brown - Stardust
NR

I definitely need to listen to this album more, it will probably grow on me. There are some real bangers here, but Frost Children’s showing was kinda disappointing? I think? “Shake It Like A” is one of my favorite tracks of all time, but Green Light is kinda just okay

underscores - Do It
93

the new wave of the future

DJ Re:Code - ReVertPunk!
85

This is the epitome of the pure magic of furry music, its edgy, its dramatic, and LOUD AS FUCK

It really captures the essence of binging animation memes as a kid in the 2010s lmao

55

It is certainly not *horrible*, I’ll give it that. The only track I’ll be coming back to is “Just Be Competent”. This album features that genuinely fantastic track surrounded by a bunch of sugary slop, mostly comprised of remixes and heavy interpolations of pre-existing songs. It’s fine. With a cover like that I was hoping for something more original.

For good furry music I highly recommend DJ Re;Code and Mailpup

Dove Cameron - Too Much
85

This is so fun and petty. I think the Ava Max comparisons are inaccurate, it remind me more of some of Rina Sawayama’s stuff.

JakeNeutron - Jax Toy
15

The chorus is competent, but everything surrounding it is so confusingly poorly written? Who thought this sounded good?

Niomi - your pet
94

WOAAHHH :0000

That Kid - Spencer Needs A Ladder
91

I REALLY like this track, Underscores and That Kid are giving it their all, but i can’t fucking stand 6arelyhuman. Their presence brings down this song a lot.

Edit: (75-91) I can’t pretend like I don’t love this BUT 6arelyhuman is a poser and contributes nothing to this song

"@KingofFlemens UMG is delighted to hear that you enjoyed Shine On You Crazy Diamond (Pink Floyd’s Version) - I hear there’s a limited-edition Target-exclusive pink sparkly vinyl release! Get it before it’s gone!"

"@kingofdahill I understand how long-awaited this is, because this exact composition has existed in this exact form on Youtube for well over a decade and a half. Which is also a testament to how low-effort and uninvolved it is. I just cannot see the artistic value in Pink Floyd’s estate managers figuring out how to splice two tracks together as they scramble to find a single un-milked teat attached to the rotting cow corpse that is this dead band’s legacy. As for my opinion solely on the track itself, like I said, it’s sleepy, unprovocative, and meandering. I gain no enjoyment listening to it. 0/100"

"@kingofdahill So comparing this repackaged product to ACTUAL singles that ACTUALLY move me such as Forgone, or excite me such as Starburst by Danny Brown and Do It by Underscores, this brings me no enjoyment. But, this is classified as a “2025 single”, despite that fact that it is neither a single nor is it from 2025. However, seeing as this website and community is inviting users to compare it to other 2025 singles, I am doing just that. 0/100"

"@kingofdahill Now with that said, in my experience, listening to this track did not give me any enjoyment. It’s 25 minutes of meandering drawl that I didn’t care for. I have not gone out of my way to listen to any of Pink Floyd’s music, and that isn’t going to change. This mix is relatively inoffensive, but I cannot find any artistic value in *this specific rerelease*. It’s a couple of antiquated arrangements stapled together solely because whoever owns the rights to this music knows that they can milk the recognizability of Pink Floyd. I am not judging in comparison SOLELY to Forgone, I’m personally judging it in comparison to EVERY track on the singles list this year - BECAUSE it is INCLUDED on that list."

"@kingofdahill Music exists within a cultural context that affects the experiences of the people who listen to it. Some people have been listening to this arrangement for 50 years. Those people are far more likely to enjoy this release, partially because of nostalgia. That’s not invalid, there are tracks I’ve been listening to for years that I cannot objectively justify my enjoyment of based purely on the quality of the work. I completely understand why someone wouldn’t enjoy songs that I primarily enjoy because of my personal attachment to them. Now this mix is certainly not a poorly-made work that can only be complimented based on personal sentiment, but the same is true for the vast majority of ALL mainstream music."
