Glad to see classical hindustani vocalists getting the limelight they deserve because Ali Sethi's vocals are just absolutely majestic. Jaar's ambient and droning synths provide so much space for Sethi's vocals to just spread like fog in a tunnel that hits you in the face like a breath of fresh air. The album as a whole has a very experimental note to it with both artists seemingly venturing into new territory but still bring their comfort zones along with them.

Another addition to the already saturated 80s pastiche sounds by Charlie here who goes all in on the sounds from the era but there's no real contribution that offers something beyond what we have already heard. Not really a bad album, but more of a forgettable one considering Charlie has the ability to gun out some really catchy songs but that's not to be seen here.
