Justin Vernon has managed to create a beautiful album where the album has an elegant music fusion of art pop and pop soul music.
A pretty fun Japanese pop rock album although it has some songs that can get annoying musically to my ears.
As someone who doesn't listen to many Spanish-speaking albums, I have a lot of fun listening to this Spanish folk rock album! The album is not just a standard folk rock album but it also has elements of blues rock and psychedelic rock.
For an album that is produced in 1970s, I like how the album introduces a jazz fusion sound that is crucial on the development of modern jazz fusion music.
Not as good as Either/Or but Elliott Smith self-titled is still a beautifully made folk album.
What I like about this album is that this album doesn't only have catchy rock tracks but also has some chamber pop element to it.
92/100 abstract hip hop album. A few tracks on this album that are kinda boring to me that prevents me from giving this album 100/100 but this album is still an amazing abstract hip hop experience.
Stardust is an album that is different from the usual aggressive Danny's experimental hip hop music. In this album, Danny dives deeper to EDM rap music that sounds like Revengeseekerz by Jane Remover. The result? Stardust is an interesting EDM rap album with some cool features.
You Won't Go Before You're Supposed To goes very hard as a modern metalcore album!
What can I say? Revolver is an album where The Beatles where they showcase their ability to create a very interesting psychedelic experience with catchy hooks and elegant singing.
The first half of Low album by David Bowie has catchy art rock songs but I like the second of the album more when the album goes ambient mode.
Unmusqiue is a very fun rage album with an interesting vocal delivery and a balance between hard-hitting songs and soft-sounding songs. The production on some songs are a bit too noisy for my liking though which prevents me from rating it slightly highter to 90-92/100.
The Forever Story is an amazing conceptual rap album that blends deep storytelling in rap lyricism with smooth rap production and an energetic rapping performance from JID.
The biggest problem with this album is how bland it is. Instead of the usual energetic Max Martin production, what I heard is very slow boring pop production that reminds me of Jack Antonoff and not in a good way. There is one moment on this album where it tries not to be boring but instead being an annoying song about a dumb beef with Charli XCX and ends up as the worst song on the album (Actually Romantic).
With that said, is there any positive thing I can say about the album? Well, I gotta ... read more
Korn is a very influential album for nu metal music and it's not hard to see why. This album does not only have catchy nu metal riffs but also the lyrics in this album are quite dark in tone (specifically Daddy). Overall, Korn is an essential album to listen if you want to explore nu metal music.
Burning Desire is a very beautiful jazz rap album that has smooth production despite having a little bit of filler tracks.
The biggest problem I have with MUSIC album by Playboi Carti is that the album feels very bloated. While I like about 9-10 songs from the album, I don't care about half of the album. I know Whole Lotta Red has a lot of songs but at least WLR has enough variety in sound to justify the big amount of tracks and doesn't have many filler tracks like MUSIC. Overall, I did enjoy MUSIC album to some extent for an interesting idea of a fun trap album but it could've been executed better.
