Everyone knew that JID was technically superb before The Forever Story, but perhaps it was his huge potential that had people hold him to higher standards. On this project, he surpassed those standards and then some. Delivery, impossible flows, lavish beats, compelling content and storytelling; and even some soulful vocals on tracks such as Kody Blu 31 and Bruddanem.
